Chris Leman understands and appreciates the comforts of "home". A graduate of Olympia High School who grew up in the small town of Danvers, Chris truly values the opportunity to "serve families and communities he has known his whole life". Chris has two daughters, Payton and Reese, and treasures his time spent with them. An avid hunter and golfer who previously owned and operated Pomme De Terre Golf Club in Morris, Minnesota, Chris concedes that he would be a golf teaching professional if he wasn't working in the funeral industry. Chris' passion for assisting others in need is seen in everything that he does, and as Chris puts it, "making a difficult time for families as smooth as possible" is what drives and encourages him every day. Chris' desire to come "home" was realized in 2014 when he joined Calvert Metzler Memorial Home family.

A native of El Paso, Texas and one who has lived in Charlotte, North Carolina and Canada, it is no wonder why Monica lists traveling as one of her many hobbies. In fact, Monica admits that she “loves to explore places that she hasn’t been” and if she’s not traveling to them, she can be found reading about them. Monica graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) and has worked in various sized corporations throughout North America. Since arriving in Bloomington-Normal, Monica has embraced the ”hometown feel” of Bloomington-Normal and the opportunity to serve the community that she now calls home. Monica and her husband, Scott, who is coincidentally a fencing champion, have two daughters (Becky and Emily) and three pets (2 year old dog named Shep / 19 year old cat named Ebony / 3 year old cat named Stella).

Evan represents the third generation of the Calvert name in the funeral industry, following in the footsteps of his grandfather, Larry, and father, Alex. A Carthage College student (where he is a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon) and future Worsham College of Mortuary Science enrollee, Evan’s desire is to further the legacy of his family members and offer the same kind of care and service to the communities in which the Calvert family serves. As Evan readily admits, “I embrace being able to help families in their darkest times in life.” When Evan is not attending to the needs of those aforementioned families or studying, he can be found spending time with his family and friends, his girlfriend Hannah, and his dogs, Sally and George. Evan loves Bloomington-Normal, especially the wide array of good restaurants, amazing golf courses, and the friendly families that comprise these communities. In his limited spare time, Evan enjoys watching baseball, fishing, and golfing; and he dreams of one day playing on the PGA Tour, where he can play all the top courses in the world and ultimately employ his father as his caddy.
