Edith L. Foggy Obituary (1924 - 2018)

Bloomington - Edith L. Foggy passed away at her home on Sunday September 16, 2018. She was born October 17, 1924 in Bonaparte, Iowa, the daughter of Benjamin and Dottie Scott. Her parents and a brother Chester and a sister Eileen preceded her in death. She married Harold Foggy on April 13, 1946 in Fort Madison, Iowa. He preceded her in death on October 6, 1975. She is survived by her three children, Charlotte (Glen) Ludwig of Bloomington, Ronald (Cheryl) Foggy of Bloomington, and Becky (Hank) Brandt of Atlanta, Illinois, six grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Edith worked at General Electric Company in Bloomington for thirty-four years. She was an avid sports fan who enjoyed bowling and watching Nascar racing and college basketball. A private family memorial service will be held at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home in Bloomington. Burial will take place in Park Hill Cemetery in Bloomington. Memorial contributions may be made in Edith's name to the Salvation Army.
