Edna L. Carter 84 of Clinton, Illinois passed away 9:04 A.M. August 12, 2019 at her family residence, Clinton, IL Services will be 10 AM, Friday, August 16, 2019 at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Kamden Trummel officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL. Visitation will be 5 - 7 PM, Thursday, August 15, 2019 at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the Edna L. Carter Memorial Fund. Edna was born January 22, 1935 in Clinton, IL the daughter of George Hamilton and Blanche (Tudor) Ray. She Married Delmar Dean Carter February 19, 1954 in Clinton, Il. He passed away January 10, 2017. Survivors include her children, Tony Dean Carter, Ronald Carter and Liana Carter all of Clinton, IL; 5 Grandchildren; 11 Great-Grandchildren; and sister, Virginia Patterson, Clinton, IL Edna was preceded in death by her Parents and 1 Sister, Dorothy Strange. Edna enjoyed cooking and Ballroom Dancing. Spending time with her family was the most important part of her life.
