Emily Elizabeth Wilson "Emi" Obituary (2005 - 2018)

Emily Elizabeth Wilson "Emi", 13, of Normal, passed away on Monday-September 17, 2018 at her residence in Normal. A gathering of friends will be from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. Thursday-September 27th at the First Assembly of God, 800 E. Vernon Ave., Normal, IL 61761. Memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of the Autism Place. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Le Roy is in charge of arrangements. Emi was born June 9, 2005 in Normal, IL to her parents Ed and Dawn (Lovell) Wilson. Emi is the daughter we had been hoping for. Emi is survived by her two loving brothers, Alex and Zachary; Aunt Donna (John) Wilson Rapp of Gridley, Uncle Jeff Lovell of Portland, OR; cousins Sarah Rapp, and Andrew (Kelsey) Rapp; and her pets: Hazmat, Palmer, and Mittens the cat. Emi was a student at Hammitt Junior High School, Normal where she strived to become the young lady she was. Emi was very active with the Autism McLean and ISU's The Autism Place. She had a vivid imagination and loved her backyard pool, her DVD's, numerous toys and just being home. Emi loved ice cream, pizza and milk. Emi loved the outdoors and Monarch butterflies were her most cherished outdoor insect. Emi we love you!
