Jeffrey "Jeff" Loren Shoemaker Obituary (1955 - 2019)

Jeffrey Loren "Jeff" Shoemaker, 63 of Normal, Illinois passed away on Friday, January 04, 2019 at his home. A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019 at 1pm at the Gridley Cemetery, Gridley, Illinois with Rev. Steve Evans officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements. Jeff was born on January 22, 1955 in Bloomington, Illinois. He is the son of Loren and Shirley Houck Shoemaker. Jeff is survived by his son, Zach Shoemaker; brother and sister, Rod (Trish) Shoemaker, Naperville, IL and Sheila Shoemaker, Normal and a nephew and niece, Dillon and Megan Shoemaker. He is preceded in death by his parents. Jeff started and ended his career as a musician. He loved music, Chicago sports, playing cards and was an avid reader. Jeff was a kind and caring person and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
