Terri's love for family and history have only helped to enhance her passion for Pontiac and the surrounding communities served by Calvert & Martin Funeral Homes. In Terri's words, "Everyone knows one another, and everyone looks out for each other. It is very family oriented." Terri and her husband Brian are the proud parents of a son (Jaxson) and daughter (Kaitlyn) and their beloved dog (Peanut). When Terri is not assisting and guiding families through a difficult time, she enjoys hiking, gardening, reading, traveling, and especially researching her extensive family genealogy.

Elizabeth's small-town roots run deep, and her work with a local non-profit in her tiny, hometown community only strengthened her passion for people that call these rural towns "home". As Elizabeth so perfectly put it, "I know how important community involvement is and how much it can make a difference." Though her career began in 2019 with Calvert & Martin Funeral Homes, Elizabeth readily recounts the many deaths that befell her family; and thus the reason she appreciates the opportunity to "help families that are going through this same process." A lover of music and the proud owner of a record player and countless records, Elizabeth loves the challenge of doing and completing the many puzzles that she has collected while enjoying the vast array of music that comprises her extensive audio library.

As Evan readily admits, “I embrace being able to help families in their darkest times in life.” When Evan is not attending to the needs of those aforementioned families or studying, he can be found spending time with his family, friends, and his dogs, Sally and George. Evan loves Bloomington-Normal, especially the wide array of good restaurants, amazing golf courses, and the friendly families that comprise these communities. In his limited spare time, Evan enjoys watching baseball, fishing, and golfing; and he dreams of one day playing on the PGA Tour, where he can play all the top courses in the world and ultimately employ his father as his caddy.

Shannon Sheehan-Eakle
Advanced Planning Director
(815) 844-5151

Shannon grew up in St. Peter, Minnesota and attended Mankato State University, where she met and married her first husband Kevin. Kevin and Shannon had four "beautiful" children (Nichole, Connor, Kennedy & Meghan) and left their home state for Bloomington, Illinois in 1998. Sadly, Kevin passed away in 2004, and it was this tragic event that encouraged her career choice as an Advanced Planning Director. As Shannon put it, "I love helping people and putting a smile on someone's face when they need it, especially since I have been in those shoes. I want to be someone's rock and get them through a difficult time."

Today, Shannon is happily married to Dave Eakle and has added his four "beautiful" children (Mary, Christopher, Brian & Janie) to her expansive and loving family. Because "eight is not enough", Dave and Shannon have invited two more members into their home - Samson, a 120 lb. Bernese Mountain Dog and Louie, a 10 lb. Cockapoo.

When Shannon is not watching or following one of her children's sporting events, she can be found cooking, reading, and spending time with her close friends. A photography enthusiast and a fan of both golf and tennis, Shannon readily admits that she would be traveling the world with her family if she weren't serving individuals and families as Advanced Planning Director at Calvert & Martin Funeral Homes.
