   Serving Dwight

Scott R. Hager
May 5, 1951 - February 14, 2018

A native of Dwight, Scott spent his personal and professional life investing his time and energy into the community that he dearly loved. Scott especially appreciated the history associated with his hometown and the opportunities to raise funds and awareness for community projects benefiting Dwight. Scott received the first B.A. Degree in Mortuary Science in Illinois and was a graduate of Iowa Wesleyan College and Southern Illinois University. He later ran a trade embalming service in Dade County, Florida. Scott's hobbies included stained glass, reading, and playing the organ; and he greatly loved serving his community and representing Hager Memorial Home.

Funeral Director

Evan is a fourth-generation Director.  Educated at Carthage College and Worsham College of Mortuary Science, Evan is pleased to be working with his family and serving families throughout Central Illinois.  He lives in Bloomington with his wife, Lauren, and enjoys being a part of the community.  Evan chose to be a Funeral Director simply because he feels the need to serve families with the kindness, care, and compassion that only a family-operated funeral home can offer.  When not working, he enjoys golfing, fishing, and spending time with his wife, family, and his dogs, Frank and Mooney.  His dream job would be to play on the PGA tour with his Dad as his caddy!
