Allen L. Horn Obituary (1955 - 2020)

WASHBURN- Allen L. Horn, 65 , of Washburn, passed away at 7:49 AM on Friday December 25, 2020 at his residence in Washburn. His visitation will be from 4 to 7 PM on Thursday December 31, 2020, at Calvert-Johnson Memorial Home in Washburn. Cremation will be accorded. Memorials may be given to the family. Due to Covid-19 ,facemasks and social distancing are required. Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home in Washburn is in charge of arrangements. Allen was born on February 5, 1955 in Mendota, a son to Howard and Mary Harris Horn. He married Helen Ann Blackburn on November 9, 1996 in Mendota. She preceded him in death in 2011. Surviving are his children; April (PJ) Chaney, Adam (Sherry) Bend, Andrea (Mark) Langham, Abygail Horn, Zachary Horn; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Allen worked for Millwright Union Workers for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish, and golf was a passion of his. He was also a talented and crafted woodworker.
