Anita J. Wagers Obituary (1932 - 2019)

Anita J. Wagers, 86, of Clinton, Illinois, formerly of Le Roy, Illinois, passed away at 10 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at Liberty Village, Clinton, Illinois. Her funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 6, 2019, at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Le Roy, Illinois, with Pastor Bobby Davis officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Le Roy, Illinois. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 6, 2019, at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Le Roy, Illinois. Memorial contributions may be made to the Le Roy High School Athletics or Le Roy Emergency Ambulance Service. Anita was born October 22, 1932, in Bloomington, Illinois, to Amos and Frances Carlson Wagers. She is survived by her son, Michael Wagers of Wapella, Illinois; a special friend, Brad Roberts; two grandchildren, Michele (Gary) Prosise of Clinton, Illinois, and Joseph Wagers of Wapella, Illinois; four great-grandchildren; and one brother, Richard (Linda) Wagers of Le Roy, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents. Anita retired from General Electric after 33 years. She was a 1950 graduate of Ellsworth High School and was a former member of Machinists Lodge 1000, Bloomington.
