Annetta Galloway Obituary (1925 - 2020)

Annetta Galloway 94, of Chatsworth, IL died Tuesday May 26, 2020 at 6:00AM at Good Samaritan Home, Pontiac, IL. Private family graveside services will be held at Chatsworth Cemetery, Chatsworth, IL with Rev. Mauricio Vieira of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Chatsworth officiating. Memorials in Annetta's name may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church or Chatsworth American Legion Auxiliary. Calvert & Martin Funeral Home, Chatsworth is handling the arrangements. Annetta was born on August 28, 1925 in Charlotte, IL a daughter of Frank and Gertie (Haase) Saathoff. She married Berdell Galloway on March 16, 1947 in Charlotte. He preceded her in death on August 28, 2015. Survivors include: three sons: Dan Galloway of Thailand, Ron Galloway of Chatsworth, IL and Gary (Jenise) Galloway of Chatsworth, IL; two daughters: Judy (Dave) Gragert of Pontiac, IL. and Cathy Durham of Fairbury, IL; ten grandchildren: Jeremy Donnelly, Ryan Petrulakis, Ron Galloway, Brandon Galloway, Mykal Galloway, Caleb Durham, Shawna Carver, Kiley Donley, Bria Salinas and Kerber Galloway; eighteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Annetta was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. Annetta was a 1943 graduate of Chatsworth High School. She worked at Baldwins Dry Goods for six years and then moved to the farm where she helped her husband on the farm. Annetta was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church-Chatsworth, IL and the Chatsworth American Legion Auxiliary.
