Beatrice E. "Beth" Stanley, 63, of Dwight, IL passed away at 5:45 PM on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Heritage Health & Rehab Center in Dwight, IL. Cremation rites have been accorded. Funeral services will be 11am, Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Hager Memorial Home in Dwight, IL. Memorials in Beatrice's name may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Beth was born in St. Louis, MO on March 16, 1958 to William and Beatrice (White) Stanley. She is survived by sisters, Vera Stanley of Fort Dodge, IA, Billie Jo Stanley of Ft. Dodge, IA, Dorothy Crouse of Coalville, IA; aunt, Dorothy Lewis of Boone, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Gary Newman. Beth worked in the State of Illinois Department of Corrections for more than 30 years as a Librarian retiring just last year. She completed her Masters Degree at the University of Missouri in Colombus, MO. Beth always had a passion for reading and will be remembered fondly by her family.
