Billie F. Scott of Bloomington IL passed away at 5:45 PM on Monday, January 7, 2019 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington, IL. Her funeral service will be 10:00 AM Friday, January 11, 2019 at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL. Pastor Bob Hasselbring will be officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 PM-7:00 PM Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL. Private inurnment will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Downs, IL. The family suggests memorials be made to the Community Cancer Center, Normal, IL Billie was born August 11, 1936 in Cairo, Georgia the daughter of Henry and Launa Morrison Gainous. She had married Robert James Scott in 1955. Surviving are her 2 daughters, Sheri Scott, Bloomington, IL, Kimberly Scott, Pontiac, IL 7 grandchildren, Dana (Craig) Ruffalo, Darien, IL, Shandi (Feliciano) Scogin, Bloomington, IL, Emilee Scogin, Bloomington, IL, Michael (Tena) Hull, Heyworth, IL, Zachary (Angie) Scogin, Bloomington, IL, Matthew (Karoline) Hull, Farmer City, IL, Taylor Strange, Bloomington, IL, 13 great-grandchildren, 1 sister, Christelle Mills, Nashville, TN and many nieces and nephews also survive. Billie is preceded in death by her parents, her son Kevin Scott and her daughters, Karen Hull and twin infant sister Sharon Scott, 5 sisters, Carolyn Ann Gainous, Cathryn Connell, Louise Tester, Ouida Dow and Annelle Champion. Billie was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Bloomington, IL. She had worked at Brandtville Restaurant from 1964 until they closed. Billie later worked at Bloomington Country Club for over 20 years until her retirement in 2018. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Baseball Fan. She worried about and loved her family dearly.
