Carole Anne Strobbe, 85 of Pontiac, IL died Sunday May 9, 2021 at 10:08AM at Good Samaritan Home, Pontiac, IL. Cremation rites will be accorded, and a memorial mass will be held on Friday May 14, 2021 at 11:00Am at St. Mary's Church, Pontiac, IL with Fr. David Sabel officiating. Masks will be required for those attending the Mass. Inurnment will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Odell, IL. Memorials in Carole's name may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry or St. Paul's School in Odell. Calvert & Martin Funeral Home, Pontiac is handling the arrangements. Carole was born on January 27, 1936 in Pontiac, IL a daughter of George T. and Mary (Dalpoas) Ralph. She married John Strobbe. Survivors include two children: Scott (Catherine) Strobbe and Michelle (George) Keough; Grandchildren: Cole Strobbe, Caitlin, George, Sean, and Emma Keough; one step granddaughter: Alyssa Crowder. Carole was preceded in death by four brothers: Frank, Norm, George, and Richard Ralph; two sisters: Helen Skipton and Geraldine Panno. Carole was a graduate of St. Paul Grade and High School in Odell, IL. She graduated from St. Joseph's School of nursing in 1957. She was a registered nurse and an assistant teacher at a preschool in Romeoville, IL. Carole was a member of St. Mary's Church.
