Clydie "Marie" McBride Obituary (1960 - 2020)

Clydie "Marie" McBride, 60, of Chicago, IL, gained her angel wings on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 8:21pm at Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka, IL. Funeral services will be 12:00 pm on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Calvert Martin Funeral Home in Chatsworth, IL. A visitation will be held that same day also at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of services. Burial will follow the services at Onarga Cemetery in Onarga, IL. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers. Memorial's in honor of Marie may be made to the American Heart Association. Calvert Martin Funeral Home in Chatsworth, IL is in charge of arrangements. Due to Covid 19 rules and regulations the family will also have a celebration of life at a later date for all those who are unable to attend. Marie was born in Fireco, West Virginia on April 28, 1960. She was the daughter of the late Ira Clyde and Piney Ellen (Hornsby) McBride. She is survived by her sons, Phillip Anglin of Centralia, IL, Cheyenne McBride of Chatsworth; 3 grandchildren, China and Christopher McBride, Phillip Anglin Jr., Destiny McBride; 2 sisters, Mary Harris of Chatsworth, Ellen (Tom) Hanlon of Crescent City, IL; 2 brothers, Wayne (Janice) McBride of Alvin, IL, Richard McBride of Chatsworth; Lisa Lopez, Joseph Lopez, Tina Lopez and James Partin, Andre and Brian Henderson, Leslie Milsap, Jordan Bennett, who she thought of as her children; nieces and nephews, Tracy (Van) Valvis, Robin Smith, Dean Smith, Joey (Kasey) Harris, Carol (Juan) Sanchez, Tammi (Jesse) Campos, Tonya (Isadore) Avalos, Jeannie Hoy, Paula Sutton, Becky McBride, Scott McBride; great nieces and nephews, Addy (Juan) Gomez, Carmen Gaytan, Ashley Smith, Nicholas and Samantha Valvis, Kassidy and Josie Harris, Mariah Turner, Myya and Jesse Compos, Matthew Muncaster, Jazmine, Jennifer, Jayden Avalos, Christa Avalos, Nick Avalos, Oliva Avolos, Brantley and Avah Avalos, Alexa Gomez; and special friends, Robert Bennett, Sandy Wallace, Betsy Wallace, Cora Lopez, Kristy Anderson and Amanda Lopez. She is also survived by her dog Yoda and cats Norco and Pickles. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister, Reva Smith; 1 brother, Roger McBride; nephews, Kenneth McBride and Ronnie Harris; 3 brothers in law, Raymond Hoy, Ronnie Smith and Ron Harris. She enjoyed talking with people and attending yard sales. She always enjoyed Karaoke, Bingo and going to the flea markets. She loved connecting with her grandchildren over Facetime and telling jokes.
