Daisy M. Carney age 86 of Bloomington IL passed away on 3:00 PM Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Arcadia Care, Bloomington, IL. Services and visitation will be private. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Bloomington, IL. The family suggests memorials be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society. Daisy was born August 14, 1934 in Mt. Carmel, IL the daughter of Willie S. and Flora Jane Wolfe Stutsman. She married Melvin R. Carney on November 29, 1957 in Vienna, IL. He passed July 25, 1996 Surviving are 2 children, Margaret Ann Garfield, California William R. Carney, Bloomington, IL and her sister, Ann Cobb, Johnston City, IL. Daisy is preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother Charles Stutsman and her sister, Iona Shepherd. Daisy had worked at State Farm Insurance Company for 38 years. She was a RGIS Inventory Service team supervisor for 13 years. Daisy was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, she enjoyed bingo and collecting dolls.
