Dallas D. Kaufman Obituary (1954

Dallas Kaufman, age 64, Danvers, IL, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018. A private graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, November 5, 2018, at Stouts Grove Cemetery, Danvers. Lynn McClure will be officiating. A celebration of life will be held Monday from 2-4 pm at the Congerville Village Hall, 300 East Lincoln St., Congerville, IL. There will be no visitation. The family requests memorials be made to a charity of donor's choice. Dallas was born January 1, 1954 in Peoria, IL, the son of Ernie and Violet Froman Kaufman. He married Peggy Sams on September 5, 1981. She survives. Also surviving is his daughter, Jackie (fiance' Dylan Kemp) Kaufman, Carlock, IL; brother, Calvin (Pam) Kaufman, Lacon, IL; sisters Linda (John) Miller, Danvers, IL and Earllene Kaufman, Toluca, IL.. Dallas is preceded in death by his parents, sons Adam and Jared Kaufman, and sister Shirley Estes. He graduated from Eureka High School in 1971. He worked for over 30 years selling Case IH farm equipment and worked the last 25 years at Central Illinois Ag, Atlanta, IL. He made many lifelong friends throughout the years. Dallas enjoyed fishing, watching westerns and spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He was a Lions Club member and a former Boy Scout Leader of Troop #188. He was looking forward to his daughter's upcoming marriage and having a new son-in-law and fishing partner. Arrangements are being handled by Otto-Argo-Calvert memorial Home, Danvers, IL.
