Deborah H. Haney-Kath age 56 of Bloomington, IL went to be with her Lord at 10:47 AM on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal IL after a 16 month battle with Leukemia. Her funeral service will be 10:00 AM Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL. Rev. Chad Sparks will be officiating. Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery, East Peoria, IL. Visitation will be 5:00 PM-8:00 PM Wednesday at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL. A memorial fund has been established in her memory in lieu of flowers. The family suggests memorials be made to Deborah Haney-Kath memorial fund or to a charity of the donor's choice. Debbie was born April 17, 1961in Peoria, IL the daughter of Walter Gene and Barbara Brashear Bullock. She married Bradley Haney on April 21, 1979 in East Peoria, IL. He passed away December 19, 1995. She later married Gary L. Kath on March 27, 1998 in Bloomington, IL. He survives. Also surviving are her parents, Walter Gene and Barbara Bullock, East Peoria, IL 1 son, Sergeant First Class Matthew Haney US Army, Ft. Polk, LA and his fiance Nikki "Cole" Conner of Colfax, IL, 3 grandchildren, Kasa & Gabriel Haney, Clarksville, TN Sara Haney, Ft. Polk, LA, 1 great-granddaughter, Hope Belle Haney, Clarksville, TN 1 sister, Diana (Kenneth) Kozlowski, Manito, IL. Debbie was a graduate from East Peoria Community High School. She had been a sales and catering manager for Snyder Corporation, Bloomington, IL for the past 20 years. Debbie enjoyed reading the Bible and was a reader of books. She enjoyed being a wife and homemaker. She loved and supported military service members. She spearheaded sending holiday care packages to members of the military.
