Dianna M. Camp

Dianna M. Camp, 66, of LeRoy, Illinois, formerly of Tucson, Arizona, and Pekin, Illinois, passed away at her home on Wednesday, May 11, 2022. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, LeRoy, Illinois. Her funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. also at the funeral home with Pastor Jason Collins officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Children's Advocacy Center, 200 West Front Street, Suite 500 B, Bloomington, IL 61701.Dianna was born May 7, 1956, in Chincoteague, Virginia, to Jesse and Vivian Brown and was the oldest of nine siblings. Dianna grew up in the Pekin, Illinois area and then moved to raise her children in Tucson, Arizona until she later returned to Illinois (LeRoy) to watch her grandkids grow up.She is survived by her two children, Amber (Brandon) Dowers of Mahomet, Illinois, and Steven (Heather) McCarthy of LeRoy, Illinois; eight grandchildren, Tyler McCarthy; Caleb Dowers; Riley Dowers; Landen Dowers; Teagan McCarthy; Ashtyn Dowers; Peyton McCarthy; and Branna McCarthy; seven brothers and sisters, Jesse Lee Brown; Cathy Gallamore; Chet Brown; Robert Brown; Len Brown; Roy Brown; and Melissa Lee; in addition to many nieces and nephews who loved her as 'Aunt Di.' She was preceded in death by her parents and one infant sister, Robin Brown. Dianna worked at O'Brien Nissan in Bloomington, Illinois for many years and was set to retire in late 2022. She had a tremendous love for her family. Dianna made sure everyone knew that her two children, and later eight grandchildren, were her pride and joy. Dianna was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. She loved going to spring training games when she lived in Tucson, watched every game she could, and finally got to see them win The World Series! Dianna also loved Elvis Presley, crocheting and reading. Dianna loved unconditionally and fiercely, from her family to lifelong friends. She will be missed greatly by many.
