Dorothy Anderson Obituary (1926

Dorothy Anderson, age 95, of Dwight, passed away at Heritage Health Care and Rehab in Dwight on, Monday, July 25, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Friday, July 29, 2022 at Hager Memorial Home in Dwight. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the services. Burial will be at Oaklawn cemetery following the services. Memorials in honor of Dorothy may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Dwight. Hager Memorial Home in Dwight is in charge of arrangements. Dorothy was born September 14, 1926, in Gardner, IL, she was the daughter of Fred and Margaret (Haag) Paulsen. She married Delbert Anderson on March 5, 1955 in Dwight, IL. He passed away May 16, 2015. Surviving are sons, Richard and Ronald Anderson both of Dwight, Doug (Denise) Anderson of Lakeville, IN; grandchildren, Kyle (Laura), Ryan and Melissa Anderson; great grandchild, Ella Anderson; sisters Lois Deal of East Moline, IL and Velda Paulsen of Kankakee, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Delbert and daughter in law Cathy Anderson. She was a very proud member of the Danish brotherhood and St. Peter's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed her Wednesday, weekly outings with her Minnesota fishing group to dinner and she loved spending time with family and friends.
