Erlene L. Hardt Obituary (1939 - 2019)

Lexington - Erlene L. Hardt, 80, of Lexington, IL passed away peacefully July 27, 2019 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal. She was born April 22, 1939 to Elmer and Rosie Brucker. She married Kenneth Hardt on December 27, 1959 who preceded her in death on December 16, 2010. Surviving are two sons Bruce (Natalie) Hardt of Hudson and Brian (Tiffany) Hardt of Redondo Beach, CA; four grandchildren Cody and McKenna Hardt of Hudson, and Lucas and Kailee Hardt of Redondo Beach, CA. She is also survived by brother Robert (Alma) Brucker of Chenoa and sister Marcella (Frank) Meyer of Colfax. Erlene was a dedicated wife and mother and attended the First Methodist Church in Lexington. She treasured spending time with her family and friends and especially her grandkids, which were some of her most cherished times. Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, August 2 at the First United Methodist Church, Lexington, with Rev. Garry Gromley officiating. Burial will follow at Wiley Cemetery in Colfax. Visitation will be 4 to 7 P.M. on Thursday, August 1 at Calvert-Johnson & Musselman Funeral Home, Lexington and one hour prior to the services at the church. Memorials may be made to the church or the Lexington Community Center. The family wishes to thank Dr. Cochran, Dr. Sriratana, their staffs, and the caregivers at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center for their loving care.
