Esther P. Kumler Obituary (1934 - 2019)

Esther P. Kumler, 85, of Le Roy, Illinois, passed away at 8:51 P.M. Friday, November 15, 2019, at her home in Le Roy, Illinois. Her funeral service will be held at 2:30 P.M. Saturday, November 23, 2019, at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Le Roy, Illinois, with Kurt Flora officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Le Roy, Illinois. Visitation will be from 12:30 P.M. to 2:30 P.M. Saturday, November 23, 2019, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice. Mrs. Kumler was born February 27, 1934, in Bloomington, Illinois, to Hugh S. and Ruby G. Smith Tarvin. She married Charles J. Kumler on November 29, 1953, in Bloomington, Illinois. He passed away December 14, 2006. She is survived by her one son, Jeff (Wendy) Kumler of Frisco, Texas; one daughter, Terri L. Morgan of Le Roy, Illinois; six grandchildren, Alan (Tricia) Loy; Amber (David) Abrams; Jill (T. J.) Schoop; Kelley (Joseph) Fleming; Kaitlyn Kumler; and Courtney Kumler; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; two sisters; and her son-in-law, Dennis Morgan. Esther was a member of the Le Roy Christian Church.
