Evelyn "Evie" B. Rudesill Obituary (1946 - 2019)

El Paso - Evelyn B. "Evie" Rudesill, 73, of El Paso, IL passed away at 5:36 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2019 at her home surrounded by family. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Calvert-Johnson & Froelich Memorial Home, El Paso, IL with Rev. Krista Price officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen cemetery, El Paso. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the memorial home and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Memorials may be made to OSF Hospice or to a charity of the donor's choice. Evelyn was born May 30, 1946 in Clinton, IL the daughter of Bernard and Viola Welch Lane. She married Wendell W. Rudesill on March 31, 1979 in Normal. He survives along with six children Wendy Palmer of Bloomington, Russell (Sevtap) Rudesill of Poplar Grove, Danny (Dawn )Hardt, of Texas, Bobbi (Morey) Farley, of Normal, Connie (Butch) Perkins of Lumberton, Texas, and Chris (Brienne) Rudesill of Bloomington; five brothers& sisters Carrol (Carol) Lane, Patty (Lawrence) Stevens, Kenny Thrasher, Ronnie (Kim) Thrasher, and Betty Deavers; thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one great-granddaughter, and a brother. She had worked at Alexander manufacturing in Towanda and Modine Manufacturing. Evie enjoyed going to garage sales. She was a loving wife, mom, grandma, and great-grandma who enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
