Gary Graig Johnson Obituary (1959 - 2022)

Gary Graig Johnson, 62, of Saybrook, Illinois, passed away at 4:53 A.M. Monday, March 7, 2022, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri. A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home of Saybrook, Illinois, is assisting the family with arrangements. Gary was born June 7, 1959, in Gibson City, Illinois, a son of Jerald Jene and Verna Elaine Hale Johnson. He married Judy Lynn Farney on June 1, 1990, in the U.S. Virgin Islands. She passed away January 12, 2022. He is survived by his two daughters, Abigayle (Rad) Duitsman of Ogden, Illinois and Hallie Johnson of Lexington, Illinois; one grandson on the way; and sister, Stacey Lynn Johnson of Saybrook, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and sister, Jeralyn Benjamin. He enjoyed spending time with his family and granddogs and being out in his shed.
