Georgianne K. Wright age 78 of Bloomington IL passed away at 11:45 AM on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal, IL. Her funeral service will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL Rev. Paul Stroup will be officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Bloomington, IL. Visitation will be 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Tuesday at the Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL. The family suggests memorials be made to Second Presbyterian Church, Bloomington, IL or the Community Cancer Center, Normal, IL. Georgianne was born August 8, 1939 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of George and Frances Bateman Kraus. She married Robert H. "Bob" Wright on November 20, 1966 in Bloomington, IL. Also surviving are her 2 children, Jim (Tami) Wright, Minooka, IL, Julie Wright, St. Louis, Missouri, 2 grandchildren, Karli and Toby Wright, Minooka, IL and 1 sister, Nancy Kraus, Springfield, IL. Georgianne is preceded in death by her parents. Georgianne graduated from Hanover College, Hanover, Indiana. After graduation she worked as an accountant at Hanover College. She later worked at Country Mutual Insurance Company, Bloomington, IL as a programmer. Georgianne was a member of Second Presbyterian Church, Bloomington, IL. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Georgianne was a great supporter of her husband Bob's Masonic Lodge activities.
