Gerard M. Lacroix 70 of Kenney, Illinois passed away 1:40 A.M. February 18, 2020 at his family residence, Kenney, Il. Services will be 11 AM, Friday, February 21, 2020 at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, Il. with Ernie Harvey, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery, Clinton, Il. Visitation will be 10 - 11 AM, Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the Gerard M. Lacroix Memorial Fund. Gerard was born December 28, 1949 in Suresnes, France the son of Edmond and Fernande (Coulevrat) Lacroix. He married Kathleen M. Edmison on January 25, 1975 in Suresnes, France. Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Lacroix, Kenney, Il.; Children, Cynthia (Lawrence) Hunt, Clinton, Il.; Stephane (Alyssa Zieman) Lacroix, Clinton, Il.; Jeremie (Ama) Lacroix, Lincoln, Il.; Anthony (Kylie) Lacroix, Clinton, Il.; Teddy (Ashley) Lacroix, Clinton, Il.; 15 Grandchildren, 2 Great-Grandchildren; Sister, Josiane Damotte, Bram, France; and special companion and best friend, Kipper. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Son, William, Sister, Denise. Gerard enjoyed reading, cycling, animals and learning about history. He was quite the handyman and could fix anything.
