Gilbert R. Edwards Obituary (1969 - 2021)

Gilbert R. Edwards, 52, of Pontiac, IL died July 15th, 2021, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, after a short illness. Visitation will be held Monday, July 19th, 2021, at the Piper City Methodist Church from 10 AM to 11 AM. A memorial service will follow at 11 AM. An inurnment will follow at a later date. Rev. Liz Reis will be officiating the services. Gilbert was born on March 1st, 1969 in Canada. He is survived by his parents, Gerald and Linda Edwards of Piper City. A son, David, and several aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his brother, Matthew. His grandparents, Lloyd and Neva Carnahan, Everett and Grace Edwards, and Harold Clark. Memorials may be given to the Piper City Methodist Church or to a charity of the donor's choice.
