Gregory P. Graf Obituary (1983 - 2019)

Gregory P. Graf, 35, of Ellsworth, Illinois, passed away at 5:31 P.M. Sunday, March 17, 2019, at his home. His funeral will be held at 10 A.M. Friday, March 22, 2019, at the Ellsworth United Methodist Church, Ellsworth, Illinois, with Pastor Bobby Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Frankeberger Cemetery, Ellsworth, Illinois. Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday, March 21, 2019, at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Le Roy, Illinois. Memorial contributions may be made to Illinois Cancer Care, McLean County 4-H Foundation or to the family, in care of Patricia Graf. Greg was born October 30, 1983, in Peoria, Illinois, to Paul G. Graf and Patricia K. Hanafin Graf. He is survived by his father of Shirley; his mother of Ellsworth; his maternal grandmother, Betty Hanafin, of Le Roy; paternal grandmother, Fran Graf, of Bloomington; three brothers, Alex (Candice Dodson) Graf, of Ellsworth, Tyler Graf, of Downs and Austin Graf, of Shirley; and one sister, Megan Graf, of Bloomington. Greg was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Vernon Hanafin; paternal grandfather, Paul Graf; a paternal aunt, Rosy Graf; two maternal uncles, Denny and James Hanafin; and a cousin, Josh Hanafin. Greg was an avid NASCAR fan and known to many. He would be seen walking everywhere with a smile on his face.
