Jill Suzanne Forrest Obituary (1962 - 2019)

Jill Suzanne Forrest, 56, of Bellflower, Illinois, passed away at 10:55 A.M. Monday, April 15, 2019, at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington, Illinois. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 20, 2019, at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Le Roy, Illinois, with Rev. Garry E. Gromley officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Le Roy, Illinois. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, April 19, 2019, at the funeral home and from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 20, 2019, also at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any local humane society or pet rescue. Mrs. Forrest was born November 19, 1962, in Watseka, Illinois, a daughter of Joe Bill and Glenda Ruth Fike Underwood. She married Thomas E. Forrest on August 29, 1981, in Lexington, Illinois. He survives in Bellflower, Illinois. Jill is also survived by her parents of Lexington, Illinois; two daughters, Rachel Elizabeth Forrest of Gifford, Illinois, and Hannah Jane Forrest of Evansville, Indiana; and one brother, Roy Aaron (Angela) Underwood of Long Grove, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Lynne Underwood. Jill was a Pharmacy Technician at Doc's Drugs in Le Roy for over 10 years. Her love for horses passed down to her daughters and she was the best horse show mom to both of them. Jill was an active member of an online quilting club, REPLEX Water Lilies and the Champaign Corvette Club. She was a seamstress and enjoyed quilting and making American Girl Doll clothes. She also enjoyed genealogy, traveling and exploring new places with her husband. Jill's family is finding comfort knowing that she is able to share the gift of being an organ and tissue donor.
