Jo Johnson Obituary (1933 - 2019)

MINONK- Jo Johnson, 86, of Minonk, passed away at 3:27 AM on Saturday December 14, 2019 at Heritage Manor in Minonk. Cremation has been accorded and a private service will be held at a later date. Calvert-Johnson & Froelich Memorial Home in Minonk is in charge of arrangements. Rita Jo Johnson was born in Francesville, Indiana on March 9, 1933, a daughter to Walter "Bill" and Gladys Wheeldon Kupke. Surviving are her children, Jeri (Robert) Frederick, Minonk, Fin (Jan) Johnson, Chattanooga, Tenn.; 9 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and 2 sons , Neil and Scott Johnson. Jo attended Joliet Junior College and later worked as Director of White County Economic Development.
