Joseph D. Arbuckle Obituary (1954 - 2018)

Joseph D. "Joe" Arbuckle, 64 of Danvers passed away at his home on Sunday June 17, 2018. There will be a Memorial Service for Joe on Friday June 22, 2018 at 11 AM at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home in Bloomington. There will be a visitation Thursday June 21, 2018 from 4-7 PM at the Memorial Home. Joe was born May 24, 1954 in Bloomington to Clifton and Mary "JoAnn" Green Arbuckle. He married Marilyn Diann Murphy in Bloomington May 25, 1974. Diann Survives. Also surviving are his two children Nicki (Craig) Becker of Heyworth and Chris (Michelle) Arbuckle of Bloomington, four grandchildren Corey, Addison, Sam, and Emerson. He is also survived by three siblings Jeffrey David Arbuckle of Normal, Elena Marie (Darwin) Wilson of Danvers and Ross Edward Arbuckle of Farmer City. Joe worked for many years for the GM & O and ICG Railroads. He later was a member of Laborers Local Union 362 in Bloomington for many years. He retired in 2015. He was an Avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan, and especially enjoyed listening to the Chicago Cubs on the radio. He also enjoyed golf and lived to be a Grandpa! He loved his family and loved supporting his grandchildren in all their activities. Memorial contributions may be made to OSF St. Frances Children's Hospital in Peoria or St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis.
