Karamay Onna-Louise Carter 22 of Clinton, Illinois passed away 7:15 A.M. October 13, 2021 at Weldon Springs State Park, Clinton, Il. A Celebration of Karamay's Life will be 6 - 9 PM, Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at The Clinton VFW. Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL assisted the family with cremation rites. Memorials may be directed to The Karamay Carter Memorial Fund checks payable to her mother, Raquel Warsaw. Karamay was born March 12, 1999 in Decatur, IL the daughter of Michael and Raquel (Belz) Carter. Surviving are her father, Michael Carter, Clinton, IL; mother, Raquel (Michael) Warsaw, Paxton, IL; children, Paiseley Brewer and Kennedy Brewer, Clinton, IL; brothers: Bret (Danielle) Kessinger, Los Fresnos, TX; Dustin (Madyson) Kessinger, Paxton IL; and Richard Carter, Chicago, IL; sister, Isabelle Sinclaire, Clinton, IL; maternal grandmother, Karaway Belz, Davenport, IA; step-grandmother, Sharon Cox, Champaign, IL; several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Donna Carter and grandfathers, Richard Belz and Delmar "Shad" Bateson. Karamay loved her two little girls; they were the center of her life.
