Litta Kinsella

Litta Kinsella, 98 of Bloomington, formerly of Gridley, passed away at 11:05 pm Sunday August 11, 2019 at the Bloomington Rehab & Health Care Center, Bloomington.

Cremation rites will be accorded. A graveside service will be at Lexington Cemetery on Thursday August 22, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Calvert-Johnson and Froelich Memorial Home, El Paso is assisting the family with arrangements.

Litta was born September 11, 1920 in Normal, Illinois, the daughter of Albert James & Edna Elizabeth (Gregory) Kinsella.
Surviving are her cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother : Marvin James Kinsella and 1 sister: Elsie Mary Kinsella.

Litta was a live long resident of Gridley, IL. For many years she was the editor of Gridley News and also a correspondent for the Daily Pantagraph Newspaper of Bloomington for the Gridley area. She also worked implementing the Show Bus program in Meadows for McLean County. Litta loved all of the arts and was known for her writing. She spent many hours in the Gridley Library and was a board member for many years. She also loved all animals, especially cats and would always have a stray cat or two that she was feeding and taking care of.
