Lynne Cherie Barnhill Obituary (1952 - 2023)

Lynne C. Barnhill, 70, of Heyworth, Illinois, passed away at home Saturday, April 29, 2023. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 4, 2023, at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home in Heyworth. A graveside inurnment will be Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in Heyworth Cemetery. Following the graveside, a Celebration of Lynne's life will be at Circle II starting around 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Lynne Barnhill's Memorial. Lynne was born October 13, 1952, in Bloomington, Illinois, a daughter of Allen and Janet (Johnson) Moser Jr. She is survived by her children, John (Julie) Barnhill of Auburn, Illinois, and Randy Barnhill of Heyworth, Illinois; daughters, Brenda Barnhill of Bloomington, Illinois, Brandy Barnhill of Champaign, Illinois, and Carol Javens of Chicago, Illinois; brothers, Allen Moser III, Mark McCowen and Mike McCowen; sister, Debra Stewart; twelve grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael, son, Richard Barnhill and sister, Marcia Perschall. Lynne was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and devoted friend who will be deeply missed.
