Margaret L. "Peggy" Fogarty Obituary (1931 - 2022)

Margaret L. "Peggy" Fogarty, 91, of Dwight, passed away at 2:09 pm on Monday, May 23, 2022, at Heritage Healthcare and Rehab in Dwight, IL. Graveside services will be held 10AM Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorials in honor of Peggy may be made to St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Dwight, Disabled American Veterans or a charity of the donor's choice. Peggy was born on January 10, 1931, in Dwight, IL, a daughter of Louis and Lucille (Chamness) Fogarty. She is survived by a large family of cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents. Peggy was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society. She graduated from Dwight Township High School. She worked for the Dwight VA hospital and Hines VA Hospital in Chicago as a medical secretary for 37 years.- In retirement she spent her time caring for family and friends and helping others.
