Margie Roos

Chestnut: Margie Roos, 88, of Chestnut, IL, passed away on December 20, 2022, at Vonderlieth Living Center in Mt. Pulaski, IL.
Crissie Marjorie Roos, was born on September 21, 1934, in Lexington, TN, to James and Retha (Killen) Springer. She married Alan Roos on May 1, 1954 in Alabama. He survives her.
Also surviving is her daughter, Jennifer Meister of Sherman, IL, two granddaughters, Kayla Finley of Lincoln, IL, and Kendal Meister of Kincaid, IL, four great grandchildren, Karoline, Kaydence, Kellen and Waylon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one son Christopher Roos.
Memorial services for Margie will be at 12:00 Noon, Monday January 2, 2023 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mt. Pulaski, with Rev. Clarence Rogers officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. prior to services. Burial will be at Laenna Cemetery in Chestnut at a later date. Memorials may be made to either Faith Lutheran Church or to Alzheimer's Research.
