Marilyn "Puddy" Schwanke Stuart Obituary (1936 - 2020)

Marilyn "Puddy" Schwanke Stuart, 84, died Tuesday, December 1 at Liberty Village of Princeton, IL. She was born December 4, 1936, daughter of the late Nello and Eurith (Halm) Milanesi. She married Donald Schwanke in 1956, divorced in 1988. She later changed her name to Marilyn Stuart in honor of her uncle, Stuart Halm. Survivors include two sons W. Scott (Janet) Schwanke of Deerfield, IL and Paul (Ginna Shannon) Schwanke of Eau Claire, Michigan, two granddaughters, Beth (Eric Bukstein) and Lauren Schwanke and two great grandchildren, Emma and Madeline Bukstein. She is also survived by two sisters, Eurith Briner of Henry and Andrea Clayton of Peru, IL, two nieces, Lesa Bloomer and Lynn Bannon, and three nephews, LeRoy Briner, Tycho Clayton and Trevor Clayton. Marilyn was a graduate of Henry High School. She worked in the field office of the FBI in Washington, DC, for the Marshall -Putnam ASC office in Henry, IL, McDonald's International in Oak Brook, IL and Jupiter Realty Company in Chicago, IL. She loved to travel, visiting western National Parks and over 32 countries, including much of Europe, India, Israel, Nepal, Russia, Kenya, China, Philippines, Mexico and Canada. Cremation has been accorded and a private service with interment in the Henry IL Cemetery will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Chaddock Children's Foundation (www.chaddock.org) or the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org).
