Marvin " Wayne" Mosier age 83 Normal IL. formerly of Colfax passed away Monday, October 16, 2017 at 8:05 AM at Sugar Creek Alzheimer's Special Care, Normal, IL. His funeral service will be 3:00 PM Sunday, October 22, 2017 Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL. Rev. Mr. Gayle Cyrulik, Jr. will be officiating. burial to follow at East Lawn Cemetery, Bloomington, Illinois. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M.-3:00 P.M. Sunday at the memorial home. Memorials may be mailed to the charity of the donor's choice. Wayne was born January 14, 1934 in Colfax, IL the son of Welby and Alta Jacobs Mosier. He married Betty D. Brucker on February 10, 1952 in Colfax, Illinois. She passed away May 3, 2015. Surviving are his 2 Sons, Marvin (Ann) Mosier, Colfax, IL, Dale Mosier, Chenoa, 3 grandchildren, Parker (Angie ) Bane, Brad Mosier, Tad Andracki, great-granddaughter, Ella Bane, sister In-law, Carolyn (Larry) Hutson of Bloomington, IL. Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Sheila Bane and his daughter in-law Ann Mosier. Wayne was a lifelong farmer in the Colfax area. He was a member of the McLean County Farm Bureau and Alliance Grain. Wayne enjoyed spending time with his family.
