Meredith Irene "Pete" Patterson Obituary (1929 - 2018)

MT. PULASKI - Meredith Irene "Pete" Patterson, 88, of Mt. Pulaski, passed away at 4:20 P.M. Tuesday January 2, 2018 at Vonderlieth Living Center in Mt. Pulaski. Meredith was born on April 21, 1929 to Harvey and Mae (Coats) Robinson. She married Carl S. Patterson on April 4, 1948 in Lincoln, IL. He preceded her in death on October 19, 2016. Meredith is survived by several nieces and nephews. She retired from the State of Illinois where she worked in the Capitol Building. She was a member of the Mt. Pulaski Christian Church, the Loyal Daughters of the Christian Church, VFW Post #777 Ladies Auxiliary, and the American Legion Post #447 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed bowling on a league in Mt. Pulaski for many years. She ran a dog grooming shop from her home, loved camping and traveling with her husband Carl, and playing cards with her friends for many years. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday January 5, 2018 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mt. Pulaski, IL with Casey McCormick officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial at Mt. Pulaski Cemetery will follow the service. Memorials may be made in Meredith's name to the Mt. Pulaski Christian Church Building Fund.
