Michael R. Randl

Michael R. Randl, 58 of Bloomington, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Advocate BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.

His service will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 1pm at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home Bloomington. Following the service burial will be held at East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 5-7pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of sending flowers the family has requested memorial gifts to be made to the American Kidney Foundation, American Heart Association or to Fersenius Kidney Care Normal.

Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements.

Michael was born on January 2, 1960 in Lincoln, IL. He is the son of Bill and Jane (Casey) Randl.

He is survived by his sister, Sonja (Rich) Leas, Bloomington; niece, Candace Leas and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Michael was a 1978 graduate of Bloomington High School. he was the owner/operator of Anaconda Sewer and Drain and previously worked at Modine Manufacturing. He was a very detailed and organized person and also could be a jokester and prankster at times. He enjoyed bowling and darts and played on several Bloomington Leagues. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping and launching his model rockets and was a Star Trek fan.
