Nathan Gast, 9, of Reddick, IL, formerly of Murrieta, CA tragically passed away at on February 13, 2020. Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Hager Memorial Home in Dwight, IL. Pastor Victor Randle will officiant. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the services. Cremation rites have been accorded. Burial will be at a later date.Memorial's in honor of Nathan may be left to the family. Hager Memorial Home in Dwight, Il is in charge of arrangements. He was born October 12, 2010, in Murrieta, CA, to Veronica Gast. Surviving are mother, Veronica (Stetson James Young) Gast of Reddick; brother, Daniel Young of Reddick; sisters, Summer and Peyton Young of Reddick; grandmother, Wanda (Michael Schafer) Gast of Reddick; step grandfather, David (C.J.) Reidmuller of Wildomar, CA uncles, Matthew Reidmuller of MN, Stephen Reidmuller of Wildomar, CA, Jacob (Molly) Schafer of Kankakee, Wade (Sandy) Young of Ridgefield, WI, Daniel "Animal" Byrne of Morris; aunts, Emma Schafer of Kankakee, Elli Schafer of Freeport, IL, Emelia Schafer of Reddick, IL. Diane (Tom) Metzger of Sun City West, AZ; great uncle, Daniel Gast Jr. of Los Angeles, CA. He was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Daniel W. Gast Sr. and his great great grandparents.
