Nina E. "Beth" McBride Obituary (1949 - 2022)

Nina E. "Beth" McBride, age 72, of Morris, formerly of Dwight and Grand Saline, TX, passed away at Park Pointe Rehab & Healthcare in Morris, IL, on Sunday, August 14, 2022. Funeral services will be at 5pm on Friday, September 2, 2022 at Hager Memorial Home in Dwight, IL. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services. Private family burial will be held at a later date in Texas. Due to Beth's long battle with dementia memorials in honor of her may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Hager Memorial Home in Dwight is in charge of arrangements. Beth was born December 10, 1949, in Pampa, TX, she was the daughter of James M. and Loy I. (Elliott) Bryant. Surviving are children; Christina (Bo) Partney of Dwight, IL, Tanya (Caleb) Koger of Diamond, IL; grandchildren, Jordan and Jake Partney of Dwight, Landon, Karson, Tenley Koger of Diamond, IL; brother, Jim (Kerrie) Bryant of Heath, TX; many nieces and nephews and many other she held close to her heart. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Jan Dempsey, Margaret "Peggy" Martin, Caroline Ann Bryant and Linda Sue Bryant. Beth taught preschool at Amarillo Montessori Academy for many years. She had a love for teaching. Later in life Beth worked as a phone operator for Wal- Mart for over 25 years. Above all else she loved spending time with her friends and family.
