Otgerus H. "Otto" Cloudt 69 of Chatsworth, IL. died Sunday February 6, 2022 at 11:29am at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington, IL. Cremation rites will be accorded and a memorial service will be held on Sunday February 13, 2022 at 1:00pm at Calvert & Martin Funeral Home, Chatsworth, IL with Fr. William Keebler officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in Strawn Cemetery, rural Strawn, IL. Memorials in Otto's name may be made to the Chatsworth Food Pantry. Otto was born on February 27, 1952 in Holland, a son of Hubertus O. and Elisabeth H.( DeMol Moncourt) Cloudt. He married Debra Waitley on June 3, 1995 in Fairbury, IL. She survives in Chatsworth; also surviving are two sons: Bert (Vickie) Cloudt of Fairbury, IL and Billy Cloudt of Lexington, IL; one sister: Antonia "Tony" (Neil) Einsele of Chenoa, IL; one brother: Johannes VanAkkern of the Netherlands Otto was preceded in death by his parents, one brother; John "Joe" Cloudt and one sister: Anna Yoder. Otto was a graduate of Forrest-Strawn-Wing High School and was an over the road truck driver for many years. He later worked at Kerry Foods in Gridley and also worked for Paul Stork.
