Paul E. Wheeler 80 of Argenta, IL passed away 10:45 A.M. April 27, 2021 at his family residence, Argenta, IL. Graveside services will be 10:15 A.M. April 30, 2021 at Friends Creek Cemetery, Argenta, IL with Pastor David Brown officiating. Calvert Funeral Home, Argenta, IL is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Traditions Health Hospice. Paul was born July 11, 1940 in Clinton, IL the son of Virgil and Josephine (Burns) Wheeler. He married Dorothy Hiser, October 4, 1972 in Argenta, IL. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Wheeler, Argenta, IL; children, Barb (Tony) Middleton, Argenta, IL, Sue (Rick) Kemp, Clinton, IL, Diane Roberts, Buffalo, IL, and Lynn (Sherry) Kaufman, Oreana, IL; 7 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; and brother, Richard (Linda) Wheeler, Clinton, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and 1 sister. Paul was a U.S. Airforce veteran, serving from 1961 - 1967, and had retired from Caterpillar. He enjoyed fishing, bike riding, walking, and camping.
