Phyllis M. Richey Obituary (1936 - 2018)

Phyllis M. Richey, 81, passed away at 8:15 P.M., Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at her home. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M., Sunday, March 11, 2018, at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Farmer City, Illinois. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, March 12, 2018, at Hopewell Cemetery, Downs, Illinois, with Pastor Dave Ashby officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Mrs. Richey was born November 22, 1936, in Moline, Illinois, to Philip G. and Marguerite I. Luth Graen. She married Russel Steven Richey on January 31, 1968, in Charleston, South Carolina. She is survived by Donna Graen Larkin of Westlake Village, California; son, Steven Philip Richey of Farmer City, Illinois; daughter, Debra (Edward) Niedermeyer of West Palm Beach, Florida; five grandchildren, Steven & Sean Niedermeyer, Destiny Richey, Lance Clark, and Danica (David) Nichols; two great-grandchildren, Rowan and Gracie Nichols; nieces and nephews; and her dear friend, Nancy Jo Miller. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one sister, Norma Jean Graen Wallace.
