Richard W. Zeiler Obituary (1955 - 2020)

PEORIA-Richard W. Zeiler, 65, of Peoria, IL passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020. Richard was born on March 17, 1955 in Peoria, IL the son of Marjorie (Rynearson) and Walter Zeiler. Richard was a member of East Peoria Church of the Nazarene. He worked for Caterpillar, Peoria Siding and Window and Zeiler Siding and Window. Most recently he worked in management for Kum and Go. He was a former Eagles member and attended all over the state. Richard enjoyed spending his spare time fishing and spending time with his kids and family. Surviving is his wife: Pamela Zeiler ; Mother: Marjorie (Gary) Crawford of Edwards, IL Three Sons: Christopher (Heidi) Zeiler of Peoria,IL, Shawn (Alexis) Zeiler of Dunlap, IL and Matthew (Rebecca) Zeiler of E. Peoria, IL; Daughter: Jessica (Timothy) Maloney of Morton, IL Two Step-Sons: Kenny Volleberg of Myrtle Beach, S.C. and David (Tina) Volleberg of Myrtle Beach, S.C. Seven Grandchildren: Nathaniel, Emma, Ava, Drew, Cody, Brandon and William; siblings: Dick (Tori) Barth of E. Peoria, Scott Crawford of Morton, Carol (Harold) Ernst of Germantown Hills, Connie (Joe) Croegaert of Morton, Janet (Ken) Owen of Peoria, and Mary (Tim) Gauwitz of Germantown hills and several beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father: Walter Zeiler and daughter: Ashley Zeiler. A private family service will take place at his final resting place at Resurrection Mausoleum in Peoria. Memorials can be made to the East Peoria Church of the Nazarene. Calvert & Johnson Memorial Homes are assisting the family with the arrangements.
