Rolla Dean Senters 78 of Bloomington, Illinois passed away 3:12 PM December 21, 2021 at Carle BroMenn Medical Center, Normal, Il. Graveside services will be 1 PM December 27, 2021 at Maple Grove Cemetery, Farmer City, Il. There will be no visitation. Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, Il. is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be directed to Ruby's Rescue and Retreat, McLean, Il. Rolla was born May 7, 1943 in Clay County, Il. the son of Frederick Leon and Claris Amelia (Robinson) Senters. He married Donna Roberts July 30, 1975 in Clinton, Il. Survivors include his wife, Donna Senters, Bloomington, Il.; Daughter, Rollina Bruns, Normal, Il.; Special Nephew, Dan (Kathy) Senters; Sister, Margie Descaro; Brother, Pat (Anne) Senters and many Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Siblings, Sammy, June, Joe, Gene, Fred, Jack, Jess, David and Several Nieces and Nephews. Rolla was a millwright by trade but loved to "Junk". He was a diehard fisherman and loved their annual fishing trips with family. They tried to go every year down to the river. He could come across gruff but was a prankster too. Pranking seemed to follow in the Senter's family. If he wasn't spending time with family he enjoyed being by himself.
