Rosamary Alexander Obituary (1932 - 2019)

Rosamary Alexander, 86, of Le Roy, Illinois, passed away at 2:05 P.M. Saturday, November 2, 2019, at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington, Illinois. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Le Roy, Illinois, with Pastor Annie McMillan officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Le Roy, Illinois. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Mrs. Alexander was born December 28, 1932, in Bloomington, Illinois, to Harvey and Leona Putterick Monical. She married her husband of 67 years, Robert V. Alexander on July 2, 1952, in Santa Barbara, California. He survives in Le Roy, Illinois. Rosamary is also survived by her two daughters, Barbara (Rick) Watson of Monticello, Illinois, and Elaine (Jerry) Hainline of Le Roy, Illinois; one all-but-adopted daughter, Laura (Jim) Rodriguez of Schaumburg, Illinois; six grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter; one great-grandson; and one great-great-grandson. Rosamary was a homemaker who enjoyed family, friends and craft projects.
