Sherry Lee Griffin Obituary (1947 - 2019)

Sherry Lee Griffin 72 of Clinton, IL passed away 5:30 PM July 31, 2019 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington, IL. A celebration of Sherry's life will be 2 - 3 PM, Friday, August 9, 2019 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL. Memorials may be directed to the Sherry Griffin Memorial Fund. Sherry was born June 10, 1947 in Flint, MI the daughter of James and Lou Jean (Cox) Weaver. She married James Griffin in 1988. He passed away 2015. Survivors include her son, Brian (Desiree) Peavler, Clinton, IL; daughter: Korrinne (Griffin) Edwards, IL, 9 grandchildren; and sister, Julie Weaver, St. Louis, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 granddaughter, Daphne Jean Peavler. Sherry worked at Revere Copper & Brass for over 30 years. She then worked at the DeWitt Co. Friendship Center.
