Stacy Marie Schaefer 49 of Clinton, Illinois passed away 6:45 A.M. February 15, 2020 at her family residence, Clinton, IL. Services will be 11 AM Monday, February 24, 2020 at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Rev. Jeff DeLaughter officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Clinton, IL. Visitation will be 10 - 11 AM Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the Stacy Marie Schaefer Memorial Fund. Stacy was born October 24, 1970 in Urbana, IL the daughter of James A. and Pamela (Veach) Schaefer. Survivors include her father, James A. Schaefer, Monticello, IL; fiance, Alvin Smith, Clinton, IL; children: Elizabeth (Sabrina) Ingram, Granville, IL; Brittney Cox, Decatur, IL; Davey Cox, Clinton, IL; Ashley Cox, Clinton, IL; Skylar (Nicole) Schaefer, Clinton, IL; and Kelsey (Reinaldo) Baez, Tennessee Ridge, TN; 5 step-children; 22 grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren; and 1 brother, Matthew Schaefer, Decatur, IL. She was preceded in death by her mother, Pamela Veach-Kinder, granddaughter, Destiny Cox, and niece, Danielle Schaefer. Stacy enjoyed reading, music, and watching the Golden Girls and Frazier. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
