Thomas E. "Tom" Bargmann Obituary (1951

Thomas E. "Tom" Bargmann, 68, of Le Roy, Illinois, passed away at 4:15 P.M. Thursday, March 5, 2020, at his home in Le Roy, Illinois, with his grandson, Masson, by his side. There will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to Donna R. Bargmann. Mr. Bargmann was born May 17, 1951, in Fairbury, Illinois, to Francis Harvey and Margaret L. "Peg" McGuire Bargmann. He married Donna R. Martin on March 29, 1969, in Palmyra, Missouri. She survives in Le Roy, Illinois. Also surviving are his mother, Peg Bargmann of Piper City, Illinois; two sons, Christian (Mary) Bargmann of Le Roy, Illinois, and Kurt (Casey) Bargmann of Lexington, Illinois; five grandchildren; one brother, Charles "Chuck" (Sharon) Bargmann of Gilman, Illinois; and one sister, Linda (Gary) Hitchens of Piper City, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his father. Tom worked at Country Financial for 43 years in Advertising/Graphic Design and retired December 31, 2011. He was a member of the Piper City United Methodist Church.
